Nielen vďaka Pölslerovej práci s prostredím pôsobí snímka ako povedome realistický sen, do ktorého vstúpil jediný, ale o to viac znepokojujúci cudzorodý prvok. Úplne prirodzené veci tú vyznievajú hrozivo, hoci v skutočnosti nie sú zdrojom nebezpečenstva.
