Emin's video CV is an accompaniment to her work on paper, Tracey Emin CV 1995 (Tate T07632), which is a potted history of the artist's professional and emotional life from conception until 1995. This CV, read aloud by Emin, constitutes the sound-track to the video and provides contrasting background to the visual information on display. As Emin narrates her story of trauma and abuse, mixed with pleasure and success, the video takes the viewer on a journey through the artist's home. The artist is not visibly present in person until the last frames when she appears curled up naked on the floor of her sitting-room at the feet of her mother (who wears black sunglasses and looks away from both her daughter and the camera). Like Emin's handwritten CV, the video constitutes her self-portrait, in this instance adding the component of a journey around the space of her apartment to her narrating voice. -Tate

Ocitáme sa v typickom stredovekom mestečku, ktoré sužujú zvyčajné dobové problémy, vrátane únosov miestnych detí, ktoré vraj majú na svedomí čarodejnice bývajúce v okolitých hlbokých lesoch. Tunajší ochranca zákona (Peter Stormare) síce tvrdí, že na to stačí sám, ale očividne klame až sa práši. Starosta preto pozve na záchrannú misiu dve celebrity, legendárnych lovcov čarodejníc Janíčka a Marienku. Súrodenci sa pustia po stopách únoscov s vervou sebe vlastnou a ich práca čoskoro začne prinášať výsledky. Bohužiaľ iné, než aké by si priali. Zistia totiž, že proti nim stoja sily mnohokrát mocnejšie než všetko, čomu museli dosiaľ čeliť. Napriek Janíčkovej cukrovke (ako malý sa raz prejedol perníkov, chudáčik!) a Marienkinmu kostlivcovi v skrini, o ktorom sa nepatrí hovoriť, sa pustia do boja proti mocnej presile, ale či sa aj tentoraz dočkajú šťastného konca, je vo hviezdach.

Up until the middle of the 19Th century, poverty stricken mountain farmers from the Ticino area of Switzerland frequently sold their children to Milan as chimney sweeps or spazzacamini. That is also young Giorgios fate. He is forced to climb through pitch black chimneys, flinging down the soot with his bare hands. But he does not lose heart.
