Satou Ichirou once called himself 'Maryuuin Kouga' and behaved as if he were a hero in a fantasy world. His strange behavior caused his classmates to bully him and he left the school. At his new school, he tries to behave like a normal boy, but one day he meets a girl who cosplays with a blue cape. She calls herself "a researcher traveling from the outer world to search for the 'Dragon Terminal'". At first, Ichirou rejects the girl, Satou Ryouko, because her behavior reminds him of his embarrassing past, but he changes his mind after seeing her getting bullied. In order to bring Ryouko back to real life, Ichirou accepts her and his past and begins the final battle as Maryuuin Kouga.

Ale bez otca a jeho brata to nezvládne a aby do školy zapadli, musí upraviť do mladšej podoby.

Príbeh filmu, ktorý sa inšpiroval po celom svete obľúbenými príhodami knižného a komiksového hrdinu Tintina od belgického autora, publikujúceho pod pseudonymom Hergé, sleduje osudy výnimočne zvedavého mladého reportéra Tintina a jeho verného psieho spoločníka Snowyho. Tí spoločne narazia na model lode, ktorá v sebe ukrýva nebezpečné tajomstvo. Tintin, ktorý je nevedomky vtiahnutý do záhady starej niekoľko sto rokov, sa ocitne na muške Ivana Ivanoviča Sacharina, naničhodného zloducha. Sacharin je presvedčený, že Tintin ukradol vzácny poklad, spájaný so zákerným pirátom zvaným Červený Rackham. V sprievode svojho psa Snowyho, starého morského vlka - kapitána Haddocka a dvojice nešikovných detektívov Horváta a Horvátha precestuje Tintin krížom krážom celý svet snažiac dostať sa ako prvý na miesto posledného odpočinku lode Jednorožca, vraku, ktorý by vraj mal vo svojom vnútri ukrývať kľúč k obrovskému bohatstvu...a tiež prastarú kliatbu.

Lietadlo nesúce aj malé dievča Sheetu, prepadnú piráti a útok končí jej pádom. Nepadne však dole, ale pomaly sa znesie do náručia chlapca menom Pazuo. Onedlho spolu zistia, že jej to umožnil tajomný modrý kameň z levitačného kryštálu, ktorý mala pri páde u seba. Tento kameň môže byť kľúčom k Lapute, dávnemu legendárnemu mestu, ktoré pláva po oblohe a ukrýva veľké bohatstvo a nesmiernu moc. Niet divu, že kameň chcú za každú cenu získať vzdušný piráti a aj vládny agenti...
